Position
summaries and requirements are listed. All positions require a high
school diploma or equivalent. Drug screening is required of all candidates. This
position is responsible for the packaging of finished product in a timely
manner, adhering to all production, quality, cost, housekeeping, and
safety regulations and agency requirements. In addition, this position
is fully trained on multiple packaging and is able to perform all of
the QA inspection requirements needed for each product being produced.
Must be flexible to work off-shifts. Qualifications include: high school
diploma or equivalent; 1+ years of machine operating experience in a
similar environment; ability to lift a minimum of 25 pounds; good organizational,
team, interpersonal and communication skills; mechanical and problem
solving skills; basic computer skills. The Mechanic is responsible for maintenance as needed to support the packaging and mixing operations of the assigned shift. If needed, the Mechanic will work different shifts to assist in accomplishing Company goals. Qualifications include: high school diploma or GED; 3+ years experience in a manufacturing environment; must have own tools and the knowledge and ability to use all common hand and power tools; ability to troubleshoot, maintain, and repair complex mechanical and pneumatic systems and basic electrical components; ability to fabricate simple repair parts; familiarity with PLC controls, mixing equipment, air compressors, boilers, and pumps. Maintenance Apprentice: The Maintenance Apprentice is responsible for maintenance as needed to support the packaging and mixing operations of the assigned shift. If needed, the Maintenance Apprentice will work different shifts to assist in accomplishing Company goals. This position will also be responsible for organizing and maintaining order in the shop, generating work orders, performing PM functions on plant equipment, working on plant improvement/modification projects, and inventory control. Qualifications include: high school diploma or GED; 1+ years experience in a manufacturing environment; computer skills; must have own tools and the knowledge and ability to use all common hand and power tools; ability to troubleshoot, maintain, and repair complex mechanical and pneumatic systems and basic electrical components; ability to fabricate simple repair parts; familiarity with PLC controls, mixing equipment, air compressors, boilers, and pumps.
